Welcome to the AYSO Region 64 Kids' Open Recreation (Core) Soccer program
Serving West San Jose, Campbell, Saratoga, Santa Clara and nearby neighborhoods
We are an ALL VOLUNTEER Organization
Join our Volunteer Family! You can be the reason your player has a GREAT season!
We are a 100% volunteer run non-profit organization and need many volunteers each season for all age groups. New coaches, referees, board members, and others are encouraged to come out and support our kids in the AYSO Region 64 community. Parents and family members are what makes this program world class! The AYSO Region 64 Board is also seeking many volunteer positions that are not on the field.
During player registration, please sign up for a volunteer role. Roles are described on this website and divided into 3 groups:
- TEAM ROLES - Coach and Referee/8U Official are the main team roles. There are many other team roles, like Team Manager and Field Prep Lead, that are of great value with less time commitment.
- DC AND REGION ROLES - DC is the Division Coordinator for a specific division (age group) and is a significant role that can be done during non-work hours. There are several other valuable region roles.
- BOARD MEMBER ROLES - Board roles are official AYSO defined roles for the region. There are different levels of effort for the various roles.
We are always in need of Coach and Referee/8U Official volunteers, and this is a rewarding way to give back to the community and interact with an outstanding group of players. If you are not able to coach or referee, there are other team roles you can do like Team Manager and Field Prep Lead that you can volunteer for during your player registration.
You can also help with league-wide activities such as Lock Coordinator, Field Permits, Equipment Coordinator, Uniforms Coordinator and other board-level roles. Please email [email protected] to offer your services and/or volunteer for specific league roles when you register your player. The operation of an AYSO region involves many behind-the-scenes volunteers who work hard during the off-season and during the season to make it happen.
