TEAM
PARTY, COACH GIFTS
The volunteer parent needs to collect $7-$10
from each player's parent. The standard inscription includes
Player Name, Team Name/division, AYSO Fall 2001. ex) John
Doe, White Tigers U8B, AYSO Fall 2001
In addition, he/she should collect an additional
$10-$20 for coaches' gifts, depending on the item. Coaches
gifts can be plaques. One parent ordered one with soccer balls
inscribed with players' names and jersey numbers, team name,
etc. Gifts can be sweatshirts inscribed with "Coach Rosie";
Or you can buy a Region 64 T-Shirt and have the players inscribe
their name and jersey # on the front with a fabric pen. Or
REI gift certificates. Or anything creative or imaginative.
Team parties can be at pizza parlors,
or at the park, or at the Jungle, or at a parents' house.
Start planning! They can be held after the last game, or on
the Friday night before or the Sunday after or even the weekend
before the last game |
